Dr. Fangli Ying

Dr. Fangli Ying is a senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). He undertakes the supervision of both Master's and PhD students, serving as the co-supervisor for 2 international PhD students and the supervisor for 16 MSc students. He is the industrial-research cooperation director in the Department of Computer Science

Research

Our research group is dedicated to building an interdisciplinary innovation hub where artificial intelligence serves as the core driving force, bridging computer science with bioinformatics, fintech, and computer vision. We aim to transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries, leveraging advanced AI techniques, from computer vision for high-precision pattern recognition to reinforcement learning for dynamic decision-making, to tackle complex challenges in bioinformatics, financial systems, and industrial applications.
